To broaden global perspectives, to improve the ability to engage in cross-cultural exchange, and to enhance international understanding and cooperation, SILC Business School held 2024 Cross-Culture Workshop and International Cultural Week, the theme of which is “Increase Cultural Understanding to Pursue Shared Dreams for the World” from 2nd to 6th December. This flagship event aimed to create a diverse, open, and inclusive platform, bringing together students from all over the world to explore the unique charm of global cultures, and promote cultural integration and innovation.

Chen mentioned in his speech that the Cross-Cultural Workshop is an important part of the multicultural education strategy. It not only provides students with an opportunity to deeply understand different cultures but also serves as a crucial platform for cultivating talents with an international perspective and cross-cultural communication skills. He emphasized that through such activities, students could learn how to communicate effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds on the basis of respect and understanding, which is crucial for their future competitiveness on the global stage. The five-day event was filled with rich experiences, showcasing diverse cultures through themed workshops featuring Japanese, Thai, Indonesian, and Chinese cultural manifestation, together with a grand cross-cultural fair on the last day, the entire event provided a high-quality platform for cross-cultural communication and scholarly exchange.

On the Japanese Culture Day, participants experienced the elegance of the tea ceremony, explored the intricate art of sushi-making, and delved into the centuries-old history of matcha. The hands-on sushi session allowed students to appreciate the precision and craftsmanship behind Japanese cuisine. The day ended on a high note amidst laughter and joy, leaving behind not only precious photos but also unforgettable experiences of cross-cultural exchange.

第二天的泰國文化日活動為同學們呈現了一場視覺與味覺的雙重盛宴。芒果糯米飯與蝶豆花檸檬水的製作過程，展現了泰國料理的風味和精致工藝，也讓參與者感受了泰國飲食文化的獨特魅力。泰國傳統小遊戲Pao Kob環節為整個活動增添了無限樂趣。活動現場洋溢著歡聲笑語，獲勝者還獲得了泰國零食作為獎勵， Thai Culture Day offered a feast of food as well as knowledge, featuring activities like making mango sticky rice and butterfly pea lemonade, demonstrating the sophistication and flavor of Thai cuisine while immersing participants in Thai food culture. The participation of Pao Kob, a traditional Thai game, made the event full of laughter and laughter, and the winners were also rewarded with Thai snacks, adding infinite fun to the whole event.

These activities not only deepened students' understanding of the cultural connotation of Chinese painting and calligraphy, enhanced their sense of cultural identity and pride, but also improved their artistic cultivation and creativity through personal experience and creation, contributing to the inheritance of Chinese outstanding traditional culture.

在印尼文化日上，印尼同學們通過語言🧚‍♀️、遊戲與旅遊主題的活動，展現了印尼文化的多樣性與活力。活動以“印度尼西亞語與特色遊戲”為主題，通過視頻、問答、遊戲等形式🗻，讓同學們體驗印尼文化的獨特魅力。

Indonesian Culture Day highlighted the richness of Indonesian culture through language, games, and tourism-focused activities. With the theme of "Indonesian Language and Special Games", the event allowed students to experience the unique charm of Indonesian culture through videos, questions and answers, games and other forms.

12月6日，作為訓練營最終展示活動的遊園會如約而至🧑🏻‍🍳。這一天👕，校園仿佛變成了一個微縮的“世界村”，來自中國、日本、泰國、印尼、俄羅斯、意大利等9個國家的同學們紛紛設置了特色展臺，展示國別文化。

On December 6th, the Cross-Cultural Training Day and International Cultural Festival began, transforming the campus into a miniature "global village." Students from China, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Russia, Italy and other countries presented their own country booths.

中國展臺展示了香囊製作與圍爐煮茶活動；馬來西亞展臺準備了馬來西亞咖喱雞肉飯🌀；俄羅斯展臺帶來了套娃🛟、俄羅斯方塊等遊戲，以及傳統舞蹈和歌曲表演🗣；意大利展臺舉行了製作披薩和意大利面的活動，同學們還欣賞到了意大利歌劇的經典片段。各國同學們不僅帶來了各自國家的特色美食👊🏽💆🏻‍♂️、小遊戲和手工藝品☝️，還通過互動交流，讓參與者更好地了解了世界文化和溝通方式🦞。

The Chinese booth's sachet making and tea brewing activities around a stove activity offer the participants a glimpse of Chinese cultural traditions. Malaysia booth served Malaysian curry chicken rice to showcase the traditional Malaysian cuisine. The Russian booth brought traditional elements such as matryoshka dolls and Tetris, as well as traditional dance and song performances. The Italian booth provided pizza-making and pasta-making activities when participants are enjoying the classic excerpts of Italian opera. At the festival, students from different countries not only presented their own special delicacies, full games and intricate handicrafts, but also engaged in interactive exchanges, allowing participants better understand world cultures and communication styles.
