2022年3月2日，一個普通星期三的夜晚，寧靜的生活卻被一個電話打破了：所有教職員工和學生立即返回校園做核酸檢測🧐。校園夜景司空見慣，但這一次，夜色中的校園卻有些不同尋常🚁。自COVID-19爆發以來🧑‍💼，穿著防護服的人（他們被稱為超能特工隊或“大白”🟥🆙，因為他們與動畫角色相似）意昂3体育並不陌生，但在校園裏🚐🦸🏻‍♂️，一下子看到這麽多“大白”，還是第一次👗。一場沒有硝煙的戰役就此打響。

At the night of 2^ndMarch 2022, an ordinary Wednesday night, most of us were home getting prepared for the classes and work on the second day. As it was approaching the end of the 10^thweek of the Winter Term, our schedules were a bit full for the preparation of assessments and exams. The peace was broken by a call from the university: all faculty and students return to the campus for testing immediately. We have seen midnight campus many times, but this time, the midnight campus certainly looked uncommon. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we might have seen people in protection suit (they are called the Baymax or Da Bai, as their similar appearance to the animation character), but we had not seen so many Da Bai in one place, certainly not on campus. This was when all fights against the virus started.

意昂3國際部迅速響應上級指令，於3月3日清晨返回校園進行核酸檢測。核酸檢測的登記系統是中文的，為了盡快完成檢測🧑🏻‍🤝‍🧑🏻，國際部的同事們幫助外籍教師和留學生操作手機，申請二維碼，在午餐之前完成了所有核酸檢測。核酸檢測團隊的高效以及外籍教師和留學生的迅速反應🏕，讓大家印象深刻👩🏼‍🦰。

SILC Business School reacted instantly to the calls of the university by communicating with all staff and students. SILC Business School, as a leading business school in international education, is known for the presence of our international community, foreign faculty and students. Our international community answered quickly to the calls of the university via returning to the campuses in the early morning of 3^rdMarch for nucleic acid tests. QR codes for test were obtained with the help of the International Office, and all tests completed before the lunch time. We were all impressed by the efficiency of the testing squad as well as the quick responses from our international community.

核酸檢測完成後🙏，國際部向外籍教師和留學生簡要介紹了相關情況。在隔離期間找個地方睡覺不容易🧑🏽‍🍼，因為辦公室不是為過夜而設計的，同時辦公室人員密集👢，不可能為每個人提供足夠的空間🏫。幸運的是⛹🏽‍♂️🤌🏿，在校區和宿舍管理員的幫助下，所有外籍教師和留學生都在第一天結束前順利安頓下來🍖。變化突如其來♘，但沒有人抱怨，因為意昂3体育萬眾一心，都希望早日戰勝病毒，恢復正常生活，暫時的不便只是意昂3体育前進道路上的又一個考驗。

After the test, the international community were briefed of the situation. Quarantine, a word that is no longer unfamiliar to most of us, became the key theme for the campus life. Finding a place to sleep was uneasy as offices were not designed for overnight stay. The density of population in offices made it impossible to find enough space for everyone. Fortunately, with the help from the campus and dormitory managers, all international faculty and students managed to settle down before the end of the day. The arrangement was far from ideal, but we did not hear complaints as everyone wanted the same thing: to defeat the virus and get back to normal life. To achieve that, temporary inconvenience was just another test on our way forward.

自第一天開始，外籍教師和留學生積極完成各項日常工作，如核酸檢測，上傳檢測報告，分發物資，在線教學準備，學生咨詢和許多其他誌願者活動⚈👩🏿‍⚖️。富有專業精神、無私奉獻的國際師生和意昂3全體師生共同築成一道保護墻，保護著意昂3体育的校園👩‍🦽。然而👩🏻‍🌾，仿佛是為了考驗意昂3体育🤽🏿‍♀️🏄🏻‍♂️，另一個挑戰來臨了。

Since Day 1, our international community completed daily tasks such as virus testing, results reporting, helping with distribution of daily supplies, online teaching preparation, student counselling and many other volunteer activities. Their professionalism and solidarity formed an indispensable part of the effort to keep the safety of our students, teachers, and a wider circle of community. However, maybe trying to test the quality of us, another challenge fell upon.

3月7日🐪，校園收緊了檢疫政策，並製定了更多的保護性對策，防止病毒進一步傳播🧞‍♀️🪯。為了最大限度地減少接觸🤦🏽🧝，不再允許外送食物🦟。國際部很快恢復了堅守底線的力量和士氣，重新安排了過夜的地點👨🏿‍🎓、分配食物🧪🛬。一種看不見的力量把意昂3体育團結在一起🥶。如果戰爭創造了一種強大的社會紐帶🆕，那麽抗擊病毒的戰爭似乎也產生了同樣的效果😀，意昂3体育已不僅僅是同事、同學、學生和老師🙍🏼‍♀️，已成為親密的朋友和家人。

On 7^thMarch, as the risk level went up, the campus tightened quarantine policy and instructed more protective countermeasures to prevent the spread of virus. The quarantine time was reset, with some of our faculty and students at SILC reporting to off-campus quarantine zones for individual space. Food delivery ordered through online platforms was not allowed to minimize contagion across gates. Again, despite of the initial panic, our international community soon regained strength and morale to hold the line. Sleeping places were rearranged, and food supplies were redistributed. Something invisible brought us together. If warfare creates a strong social bond, then the war against virus seemed to have the same effect by upgrading our relationships from colleagues, classmates, student and teachers to close friends and even family members.

外籍教師在線上授課的同時，不忘為學生打氣，鼓勵大家勇敢前行，共迎挑戰🎋。在未來的不確定性面前🫄，外籍教師眾誌成城，保證教學科研活動平穩進行。外籍教師和留學生還積極報名校區誌願者⚜️，用樂觀向上的精神鼓舞著大家，共同抵抗人類的敵人——新冠病毒👎🏿。悉尼工商意昂3的國際師生在艱難時期，為意昂3帶來了滿滿正能量✔️。

Our foreign faculty, in particular, empowered and encouraged our students to bravely go through the challenges. In the face of disturbing uncertainty, our international teachers were the most reliable pillars to support the teaching and researching activities on campus. On the other hand, our international students also supported the fight against the virus by being the volunteers in the dormitory buildings and staying positive all the time. Their high morale also influenced some of the Chinese students, with the entire student community united to stand against the common enemy of humankind, the COVID-19 virus. SILC Business School is proud of the international teachers and students, who brought energy and positive thinking in the critical moment.

與病毒的鬥爭仍在繼續，成功不是終點，失敗也並非末日，最重要的是，意昂3体育擁有繼續前進的勇氣。幸運的是，意昂3体育的外籍教師和留學生有勇氣爭取最後的勝利，擁抱安全的校園。意昂3体育同舟共濟，定將走出陰霾。

With the fight against virus still ongoing, success is not final, failure is not fatal, and it is the courage to continue that counts in the end. Luckily, our international community has the courage to embrace the final victory and a safe campus.As we always say, we are in this together, and we will come out of this together.
